ABOUT

Somatic Thai Bodywork is a bodywork that focuses on the body intelligence and connection between psychology and the physical body.

STB uses osteopathic principles to recreate the unique Thai massage technique softer, more delicately and more harmonious.

Especially inspired by Osteothai, a fusion work of Thai massage and osteopathy.

Integrative in guiding you into a realm of deep relaxation which is the starting point of the healing process, while touching energy lines and meridians, fascial unwinding, restoring movement of the articulation, rocking movements that work with the water element. 

The workshop builds a Somatic Thai Bodywork sequence as a basic practice. We will exchange a 90 minute of full body sessions from feet to head, front and back as a result of the practice on the final day.

(Expect this to be completely different from regular traditional Thai massage)

The teaching is unconventional and freely respects the individuality of the participants. Considering each body type and issue, we approach from various angles and give tools for individual study.

STB is not something that is unilaterally entrusted to someone else to fix you, but a bodywork that supports the necessary process through the practitioner's broader perspective and expantion of consciousness, mutual responsiveness

between the practitioner and the recipient (body intelligence). 

We will emphasize what direct experience of the present moment feels like, rather than on theory or what it should be. The silent space created by deep listening and reading the air is full of abundance and possibility.

You will actually witness your touch and consciousness affect the cells of the body.

Being aware of these interactions helps us understand chronic physical discomfort and unexplained pain.

This is an introduction to the somatic exploration and healing journey.
