Somatic Thai Bodywork course
10-15 March Kohpangan Thailand
Somatic Thai Bodywork is a bodywork that focuses on the connection between the mind and body and regenerates the traditional Thai massage softer and more delicately. Especially inspired by Osteothai, a fusion work of Thai massage and osteopathy.
This course builds a Somatic Thai Bodywork sequence through basic Thai massage techniques and Osteothai and what you should be aware of as a practitioner.
As a result of the practice, on the final day we will offer guests a 75 minute session of full body from feet to head, front and back.
STB is not a one-sided thing that entrusts others to others, but rather bodywork that supports the process of mutual responsiveness between the practitioner and the recipient, activating resilience through deep listening
The purpose of the course is not just to learn how to press and stretch and complete a 75 minute session. What does the body say, and what kind of self-discovery and communication arise between oneself, others, and the nature through the experience and care of direct contact with each other,
This is an introduction to the somatic exploration.
We will emphasis is on what a direct experience of the present moment feels like, rather than on theory or what it should be.
The silent space created by deep listening and reading the air is full of abundance
Being aware of these interactions helps us understand chronic physical discomfort and unexplained pain.
So let the sacred and meditative dance begin!!

Hello everyone!
My name is Mikis.
I'm Japanese.
I started to learn Reiki and Noguchi bodywork in Japan in 2008, and I became a Thai Massage Practitioner after training in Chiang Mai in 2011.
Since then I have taken many Thai massage courses, Chi Nei Tsang, Tok Sen, Chinese reflexology, Moxa therapy, Gua sha and other bodywork.
The fusion work of Thai massage and osteopathy "Osteothai" has been taught by co-founder David Lutt since 2016.
Here are the steps I've completed so far
"Osteothai principal & general overview"
"Internal organs"
"Breathing process"
"Main joint"
David teaches "Dynamic Thai Massage" as a gateway to "Osteothai" and I have had three full time courses from David and Krishna Takis and experienced as an assistant.
In recent years, I have been actively studying craniosacral therapy, biodynamics, and gestalt therapy as a somatic field.
I hope this bodywork reaches someone who needs it.
